What is a Corporate Supporter?

Building a Safer Future is societally crucial and has relevance to a broader community of interest.

Organisations, such as national or cross-sectoral bodies, that wish to publicly support the principles of the Building a Safer Future can become Corporate Supporters.

Benefits of becoming a Corporate Supporter

Corporate supporters will be

Showing their commitment to putting building safety above all else
Demonstrating cross-sectoral leadership
Engaging with a mechanism of change already adopted by major procurement organisations – Homes England, Crown Commercial Service and SCAPE
Driving change through their UK-wide partner networks

Who can become a Corporate Supporter?

Corporate Supporter status is for organisations that support a positive culture change in the safety of the built environment, but do not work directly in the construction, design, maintenance, or operations of buildings. Instead, we are offering the opportunity to join the Building a Safer mission as Corporate Supporters. This may include:

Trade and membership bodies
Industry organisations, guilds and representative bodies
Construction sector professional bodies and institutes
Government Departments
Procurement frameworks and organisations
Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs)
Fire and Rescue Services
Charitable and third Sector organisations
Professional bodies from non-built environment sectors with a broader interest in major accident or hazard safety
National Institutions
Standards setting, quality or assurance bodies
